This kind of stuff annoys me. Do not compare two different people’s fashion choices. Yes, they are both black dressed with a trumpet (or is mermaid) skirt. I think people need to leave Diana’s fashion choices to Diana, and leave Kate’s choices to Kate. Because if you really want to play this game then EVERY garment that Kate will wear will be in some comparison to Diana’s. Because everyone will want to compare pink with pink, yellow with yellow, and so on. How about we congratulate Kate on wearing something beautiful, trendy, and sensual for our generation and Diana wore what suited hers. Let Kate become a fashion icon in her own right, and not of a copy of Diana. With that kind of constant comparisons you are only offending both parties, and will cause yourself to be let down when Kate decides to wear something original that has no connection or reference to what Diana wore. So let’s let Diana’s choices remain with Diana, and Kate’s remain with Kate. Again, they are two different women from two different generations and decades.
